Early this morning, President Donald Trump confirmed that both he and the FLOTUS tested positive for COVID 19. The pair were tested after a White House aid, Hope Hicks, tested positive for the virus. Both him and Melania will be quarantining in the White House.  The President tweeted that everything is fine and that we will get through this together. This information comes right after President Trump mocked presidential candidate Joe Biden for always wearing a mask. Furthermore, in early stages of the virus the President claimed it was a hoax. People across the country are shocked by this sudden news. Not only can this have a major effect on the presidential election because the presidential debates will most probably now be online but it may also alter the election as a whole.
