Swarmed With Locust

East Africa has recently been attacked by swarms of Desert Locust. Desert Locust are finger long insects that eat all vegetation around them, eating their body weight in one day. This is Africa’s worst Locust plague in decades. Some of the Nations currently affected include Kenya, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Djibouti, and more. Farmers are trying to keep them away from their plantations by banging metal pots against each other, waving blankets and sticks, and more but none of these seem to have permanent solutions. The swarms seem to be getting worse by the day. Hopefully, they soon find a solution.
