The Iowa Democratic Party released partial results from Monday’s state caucuses, and more votes are set to be made public on Wednesday. As of right now, Pete Buttigieg and Bernie Sanders are at the front of the Democratic candidates. However, these results could change since only 71% of votes have been released.

The Iowa Caucus is a major part of the presidential elections since it is seen as a strong indicator for how candidates will do later in the elections. There has been a lot of chaos concerning the Iowa presidential caucuses after the state’s Democratic Party found many “inconsistencies,” which has delayed the results and led to widespread confusion through the whole state. The party stated all results would be released after “manually verifying all precinct results.” The app in charge is not to blame, and there was no hacking. “This is simply a reporting issues,” Mandy Mclure, the state Democratic party communications director, said.
