On Wednesday night, the winner of ‘America’s Got Talent’ season thirteen was announced. Magician Shin Lim grabbed the title. The two-hour long finale featured guest performances with the ten finalists, including Kiss, Bebe Rexha, David Spade, and Lindsey Stirling. Towards the end, however, it all came down to the top five acts (in order): singer Michael Ketterer, comedian Samuel J Comroe, violinist Brian King Joseph, dance group Zurcaroh, and Lim.

Lim was diagnosed with carpal tunnel syndrome when he was twenty, which made him choose between pursuing his hobby, magic, or to continue playing piano.

Lim will be the headlining act at the Paris Theater in Paris Las Vegas from November 2-4.
