Last Friday marked the first of many “Friday night lights,” sadly ending in a tragic loss for Champe. Even with the loss, students felt it was a great way to come together and kick off a great year. They made the most of their experience and showed their spirit for school, but still added in a bit of summer by making the game Hawaiian themed.
“I think our football games are a great way to unify everyone because it gives people the opportunity to hang out with people they may not see during school,” senior student Rachel Koh said, “and it gives people a chance to talk to new students as well.”
Our team versed Friendship Collegiate and ended the game with a score of 7-20.
