Bubonic Plague In China

A hunter in China caught the bubonic plague after eating a wild rabbit, putting 28 people in quarantine. The Bubonic Plague is a rare disease that infects the lymphatic system, which is part of your vascular system. Usually transmitted by being bitten by an infected flea.

On November 12th, two people caught the pneumonic plague and are currently being treated in the capital of Beijing. With so many people catching the plague, people are starting to worry how easy it’s becoming to catch it. However, if you catch it early, antibiotics can help get rid of the disease.
