Last month, the Southwest regional team earned Louisiana its first ever championship title at the Little League World Series.  After returning home from an outstanding trip to the LLWS and due to their shutout 8-0 win against Curacao in the championship game, the team from Baton Rouge, Louisiana was rewarded with, now sold out, chicken sandwiches from Popeyes.  On this day, the Governors mansion was the only place in the world you were able to get one of these infamous sandwiches.  Being a world champion really does have its perks!
