Tuesday evening, shooting threats to the high school Briar Woods, a school in Ashburn VA, surfaced on the app Snapchat. The alleged threat was then investigated by the Loudoun County Sheriff’s department. The Sheriff’s department determined the threats as ‘un-credible’. Lcps takes all the threats made very seriously, so there is no need to worry when going to school. Extra patrols have been sent to the schools, in case a threat turns out to be true. “The safety and security of all students and staff is LCPS’ highest priority,” LCPS says, in a email sent to parents county-wide,”and we take all reports of safety risks seriously.” If you have any more information on any threats, please call 911 or contact your school.
