Chris Harrison, previous host of all Bachelor related series in the United States, decided to step down as host. Harrison has been a host of the franchise since the year 2002. His decision was following controversial comments that Harrison states while participating in a podcast with Rachel Lindsay, and former Bachelor contestant. With this being said, the franchise is without a host and needs to fill Harrison’s spot. There have been various reports of and confirmation from the star himself that comedian David Spade, who is a big fan of the franchise, will step in and fill the spot as host for Bachelor In Paradise, which is premiering on August 16 of this year on the ABC channel.
