Washington Football Team Draft Recap

The Washington Football Team went into the draft as a solid contender with a few holes. In the draft, it is pretty safe to say they filled some of them.

In the first round, the Football Team took linebacker Jamin Davis. This fills the hole of a pass rusher that was previously filled by Ryan Kerrigan. Then, in the second round, the Football Team took offensive tackle Samuel Cosmi. This pick will likely fill the hole at left tackle, which has never been a strength of the Football team since Trent Williams left.

With their first pick of the third round and their fifth round pick, the Football team took cornerback Benjamin St-Juste and safety Darrick Forrest to try to improve on their secondary (The weakest part of their strong defense). With their second pick of the third round, the Football Team took Dyami Brown. A fast wide receiver who they hope can fit in with their two other speedy receivers. They drafted another offensive weapon in tight end John Bates with their fourth round pick. The Football team traded for their sixth round pick in which they drafted long snapper Camaron Cheeseman. Lastly, with their three seventh round picks, the Football Team took defensive end William Bradley-King, defensive end Shaka Toney, and wide receiver Dax Milne.
