India has been doing okay with handling the pandemic; however, the past few weeks have been terrible for nearly the whole country. As the virus makes another huge wave through the country the citizens are suffering. Almost all the hospitals are full, there is a huge lack of essential supplies, and the results of this are clear. India is not only out of hospital beds, they are also out of space for the dead bodies that are rapidly increasing. The citizens are seeking some sort of guidance or help from the government, but officials do not seem to know what to do. There is supposed to be a week long lockdown in the near future, but critics say that is just not enough. It is heartbreaking to see what is going on and it brings the realization to life that we are a lot further from a solution than we think.
