Forbes Officially Names Kim Kardashian West a Billionaire

It’s official: Kim Kardashian West is a billionaire. Kim is the second member of her family to appear on the Forbes Billionaire list. Her youngest sister, Kylie Jenner, was named the youngest ever self-made billionaire at just 21. Now, Kim can join her sister on that list. Due to the major success of KKW Beauty and Skims, Kim Kardashian West was able to achieve the billionaire benchmark this year. This news came after Forbes released their annual “World’s Billionaire List” on Tuesday. Kim has many successful businesses along with her television series that is coming to an end. On top of all of that, she also has her assets to add to her income: real estate, investments, and cash.

Kim Kardashian West first launched KKW Beauty back in 2017. After great success from the start, Coty acquired a 20% stake in her business just last year, which caused the business to be valued at $1 billion. KKW Beauty isn’t her only company that’s making her a billionaire. Skims, Kardashian West’s shapewear line, is valued above $500 million, and Kardashian West has a majority stake in the business. After a few people took to social media to send hate towards Kardashian West, one fan took to twitter after the Forbes announcement and said, “Kim Kardashian is officially a billionaire. Y’all better respect the entrepreneur.”
