There has been a new variant of the Coronavirus that has been spreading throughout cities in Brazil. This new variant has had the ability to reinfect those who had already previously been infected from COVID. The variant of the virus has also known to be more contagious, and scientists do not have the resources to perform tests and learn more about this variant, as well as track the spread of it. The severity is very extreme. Hospitals in Brazil have run out of oxygen to provide for patients, leaving patients to suffocate to death.
