Today, February 9th, 2021, marks the first day of Trumps second impeachment trial. Today is the day that the Senate will begin their second impeachment trial for former President Donald Trump. This time around Trump is being charged with engaging in high crimes and misdemeanors by inciting violence against the government of the United States. This charge is much worse than the last time that Trump had gone through an impeachment trial. Going into this some people believe that the Democrats are “doing too much” since the former President has already left office; however, many are scared that he will try to run again in the next Presidential election. Also that he should be charged with the crimes that he committed towards the end of his presidency regarding the fact that he put the lives of many government officials in danger. The impeachment trials will last a couple of weeks, and we are far from knowing how they will end.
