Exactly a year ago today Kobe Bryant, his 13 year old daughter, and 7 others were tragically killed in a helicopter crash on the way to a travel basketball game. Gianna, Kobe’s daughter, had a basketball game that morning. Her as well as some other teammates and parents decided to fly to the game. However, they sadly did not make it after the helicopter went down in the hills of southern California. Condolences are in order from nearly everybody that has heard the heartbreaking story. This morning Kobe’s wife Vanessa posted a letter written by one of Gianna’s best friends that talked about how painful the loss truly is and how prayers were in order for the family and loved ones. The cause of the crash and full details about that morning are still unknown. It is sad to see such sweet faces and kind people go, but all the love goes out to the Bryant’s today.
