Bridgerton has become Netflix’s most watched show in history. Netflix says Bridgerton was watched by 82 million people in its first 28 days online. It’s based on Julia Quinn’s best-selling book series, the Chris Van Dusen-created series centers on Phoebe Dynevor’s character, Daphne Bridgerton, and her marriage to the Duke of Hastings, played by heartthrob Regé-Jean Page. The creator of this show, Shonda Rhimes, is also responsible for creating other hits like How to Get Away with Murder and Grey’s Anatomy. The previous title holder of most viewed show was taken by The Witcher at 76 million.
