The Pittsburgh Steelers started out the 2020-2021 NFL season on a tear, winning their first 11 games. The Washington Football game, even though they started off slow, came into this week 13 matchup with Pittsburgh on a two game win streak. That small win streak didn’t stop the Football Team from being major underdogs in this matchup. Pittsburgh off hot, jumping out to a 14-3 lead at halftime. The second half, was all Washington. Scoring seven in the third quarter, giving Pittsburgh a smaller 14-10 lead going into the final quarter. Pittsburgh’s first play in the fourth quarter was a field goal to put them up 17-10. From there, Washington could do no wrong. Starting with a Logan Thomas touchdown to tie up the game at 17-17. Then Cam Sims had a huge catch with one arm to put Washington in range to make a field goal to put them out in front 20-17. Then a pass thrown by Roethlisberger was tipped by edge rusher Montez Sweat at the line of scrimmage and caught by linebacker Jon Bostic. Washington ran the ball and kicked a field goal. That gave them a 23-17 lead. Pittsburgh had just 17 seconds to score a touchdown.  They ended up short when Rothlisberger completed a pass to tight end Eric Ebron, but Ebron failed to get out of bounds. That let the clock run off and secured the victory for Washington.
