Ms. Margaret Keenan is a 90 year old woman from the UK, and she is the first person to receive the COVID-19 vaccine from Pfizer. She got the shot on Tuesday December 8th. In all of her interviews she discusses how thankful she is for this amazing opportunity, and she looks forward to finally spending time with her family; especially because her birthday is coming up next week. The UK’s plans for further vaccination are to distribute to the elders first, then to essential healthcare workers. This vaccine is providing lots of hope for not only the UK, but for the rest of the world. Hopefully this means a COVID-free world pretty.
