Selena: The Series launched on Netflix on December 4th. The series follows the tragic story of Selena Quintanilla, the beloved Latin singer famously known as the Queen of Tejano Music. Quintanilla was untimely murdered by one of her former workers a couple weeks before her 24th birthday. The show follows Quintanilla’s story of growing up in band with her siblings and dad, and how it ultimately led her to becoming known as the Queen of Tejano Music. Christian Serratos stars as Selena, and plays her part flawlessly. The show is filled with family connections, fun, and is well worth the watch. Selena’s late husband and sister showed their approval of the show on Instagram by giving their insight on the band and how they hope everyone enjoys the series.
