Global singer/songwriter, The Weeknd, has been revealed to be the star of the NFL 2020 Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime Show. The Grammy winning artist said he was “humbled, honored and ecstatic to be the center of that infamous stage.” Pepsi congratulated The Weeknd on social media as well writing, “When your talent is limitless, you belong on the world’s largest stage.” Super Bowl LV is currently scheduled to take place in Tampa, Florida, on Feb. 7, 2021, and will air on CBS.

“The Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime Show is one of the most anticipated performances of the year and we are thrilled to welcome The Weeknd to the stage,” said Todd Kaplan, VP of Pepsi marketing.
