2020 NBA Draft

Since the postseason was delayed until Mid-August, the Draft has also been delayed until November 18. 60 players from around the world had their dreams come true. This is how the lottery picks (first 14 picks) turned out: with the first pick, the Minnesota Timberwolves took Shooting Guard Anthony Edwards. With the second pick, the Golden State Warriors took Center James Wiseman. With the third pick, the Charlotte Hornets took Point Guard LaMelo Ball. With the fourth pick, the Chicago Bulls took Small Forward Patrick Williams. With the fifth pick, the Cleveland Cavaliers took Small Forward Isaac Okoro. With the sixth pick, the Atlanta Hawks took Center Onyeka Okongwu. With the seventh pick, the Detroit Pistons took Point Guard Killian Hayes. With the eight pick, the New York Knicks took Power Forward Obi Toppin. With the ninth pick, the Washington Wizards took Small Forward Deni Avdija. With the tenth pick, the Phoenix Suns took Power Forward Jalen Smith. With the eleventh pick, the San Antonio Spurs took Shooting Guard Devin Vassell. With the twelth pick, the Sacramento Kings took Point Guard Tyrese Haliburton. With the thirteenth pick, the New Orleans Pelicans took Point Guard Kira Lewis Jr. Lastly, with the fourteenth, and final lottery pick, the Boston Celtics took Small Forward Aaron Nesmith.
