A sculpture located in Palencia, Spain, which had human like feature was restored and now looks similar to a cartoon character,  and is now being compared to other restoration jobs across the country.

The sculpture is apart of an office building and went viral after it was posted on Facebook by Antonio Capel, a local artist. The restoration has also been called the “potato head of Palencia.” This failure is compared to another restoration in 2012 by an amateur restorer in Borja, Spain, of a statue of Jesus Christ at a local church.
