Biden and Harris win the Presidential Election

On Saturday, November 7, 2020, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris won the 2020 Presidential Election.

After 5 long days, the winner of the presidential election was finally announced Saturday morning. Many Americans were devastated by the fact that news outlets decided to announce the news Saturday morning due to the fact that many people were not around their TV’s at the time. Nonetheless, many Americans were very excited by this news and celebrated out in the streets all day long. The President Elect Joe Biden and Madam Vice President Elect Kamala Harris will be two very different candidates in the White House compared to the current President and Vice President that have been in there over the past four years. This will also be the first time that the U.S. will have a female Vice President in the White House, and she is a woman of color. This election was a huge win for many Americans; however, President Trump and his supporters have not yet conceded to the President Elect Joe Biden.
