NFL Trade Deadline

The NFL Trade Deadline has now come and gone with a few big moves having gone down. None of those moves, however, were centered around an offensive player. The move that kicked off the Deadline was the Vikings trade of edge rusher Yannick Ngakoue to the Ravens in exchange for a third and fifth round pick. After that, the Lions acquired edge rusher Everson Griffen from the Cowboys in exchange for a sixth round pick. A common theme so far continued as edge rusher Carlos Dunlap was traded to the Seahawks from the Bengals in exchange for center B.J. Finney and a seventh round pick. That was the last of the edge rushers. The next move that went down was the Steelers acquiring linebacker Avery Williamson and a seventh round pick from the jets in exchange for a 2022 fifth round pick. The other linebacker traded was Kwon Alexander, who was traded from the 49ers to the Saints in exchange for a fifth round pick. The final trade that happened was cornerback Desmond King was traded from the Chargers to the Titans in exchange for a sixth round pick.
