American rapper and now presidential candidate, Kanye West, announced his concession in the 2020 presidential race. West received around 50,000 votes from 12 states: Arkansas, Colorado, Idaho, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Minnesota, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Utah and Vermont. After posting on Twitter, confirming that he voted for himself in Wyoming, West accepted defeat for this year’s race.
After Tweeting about his vote for himself, which said, “Today I am voting for the first time in my life for the President of the United States, and it’s for someone I truly trust…me,” West Tweeted out a picture of him in front of a screen with a map of the US on it, and captioned the post, “KANYE 2024”. Kim Kardashian West has yet to say anything about this topic, but posted a picture on her Instagram of her posing with an “I voted” sticker on, leaving fans to wonder if she voted for her husband or not.
