Singers Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton took to Instagram Tuesday to announce their engagement. The couple met as judges on TV show, The Voice, and have been dating for the past five years. Just a few weeks ago, after Pop star Due Lipa referred to Shelton as Stefani’s husband, Stefani reassured her they were not dating, but responded saying, “…that sounded cool when you said it!”

The couple first hit it off after bonding over both of their divorces, and have been inseparable ever since. An inside source claimed that they are still very much in love and are planning a future of forever together. It’s pretty obvious the two are soulmates, seeing as they constantly show their support of one another both professionally and personally. Shelton’s adorable instagram post about the engagement was captioned: “Hey @gwenstefani thanks for saving my 2020…And the rest of my life. I love you. I heard a YES!”
