The Tuatara has broken more than one record this week. The car was made by SSC, an American car company, and has a whopping 1,750 horsepower engine. The car also features butterfly doors and a turbo V8 engine, but the most impressive feature is its speed. The car reached an average of 316.11 miles per hour on a 7 mile long stretch in Nevada. It also broke the record for the fastest speed ever reached on a public road, 331.15 miles per hour. SCC is very proud of the car and says they are working on more hypercars like the Tuatara. They said they have exceeded their own expectations and can’t wait to see what the future holds for their company.
