A all female firefighting crew in South Florida has made history for being the first all female firefighting crew in 57 years.

The females had been working as firefighters for many years and they had never worked with one another until they were all sent to the same station, with the same schedules. This crew not only includes all female firefighters, but it also has female EMT’s. They love how empowering their role is to other women, and younger girls because they have such a big impact on these other females futures. They have also been receiving very encouraging feedback from their communities, which has just made the experience all the more exciting for them. All the firefighters loved that they were able to experience such a rare incident, and cannot wait for it to happen again soon.
