After the death of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, President Trump has been given the opportunity to nominate a new Justice, and he chose Amy Coney Barrett.
There are many mixed feelings regarding President Trump’s nominee for the open spot in the Supreme Court, and not many of them are good feelings. Amy Coney Barrett is a well known women, but what she is most known for is her devotion to her Catholic religion. Many people find her hardcore religious beliefs as an issue with her role because of how it can affect her standing and votes in the Supreme Court. Nonetheless, Barrett was nominated by President Trump on September 26, 2020, and will begin her confirmation hearings on October 12, 2020. The women who is now taking the spot of a very well known legend will have a very big seat to fill, but the question that everyone is thinking is, how will she fill that seat?
