After an outstanding performance in Christopher Nolan’s Dunkirk, Harry Styles is set to return to the big screens. Styles has been cast in Olivia Wilde’s new thriller, Don’t Worry Darling, which is set to be filmed in early October through December of this year. Styles has been cast alongside big names Florence Pugh, Dakota Johnson, Chris Pine, and Olivia Wilde herself. Initially, Shia LaBeouf was cast as the lead male, but due to a scheduling conflict, he had to turn it down, which lead to the casting of Harry Styles as his replacement.
Don’t Worry Darling is described as a psychological thriller set in the 1950’s about a housewife in a utopian community whose reality begins to crumble, revealing a disturbing truth. Dakota Johnson and Olivia Wilde will play key supporting roles in the film while Florence Pugh will play a miserable housewife, and Styles will play her picture-perfect husband, Jack. After Styles had to reschedule his world tour for his new album Fine Line, him starring in a movie alongside Florence Pugh and Olivia Wilde is just the news the world needs right about now.
