Even though we are hitting a rough patch in our lives during this 2019-2020 school year, it is still a good idea to keep our minds working and our bodies moving. Some fun activities that can be done during quarantine and social distancing are:
- Go outside. It has probably been awhile since you have gone outside because of your busy school schedules. Now is the time to go outside and enjoy nature.
- Get a workout in. Everyone knows as a fact that exercising can make you feel a lot better, and destress you during this stressful time.
- Cook dinners for your family, or bake delicious treats. Now is your time to learn to cook family dishes, or just make yummy treats that you can snack on.
- Watch all the movies you have been wanting to watch, or your favorite old movies that you want to watch again.
- Get creative! Become a professional at “DIY’s”, and create all the cool and cute items that you have seen on social media.
- Start journaling and write out all your feelings. Journaling is a great way to be creative and is stress releasing.
- Do some online shopping. Since we are all practicing social distancing, now is the perfect time to go online and see what you can find for a cheaper price or even nicer products.
- Spend time with your family! We are lucky not to be social distancing alone, and we can thank our families for that. Now is the perfect time to create a stronger bond with your family.
The Roundtable Review hopes that all JCH’s families are staying safe and healthy!
