Quarantine Spirit Week Turned Virtual

Monday, March 30th, marks the beginning of Loudoun County’s use of distance learning during the current outbreak of the COVID-19 virus. In order to allow students to continue to feel like they are still part of the Champe community, SCA has created a week full of spirit days that students can participate in from the safety of their homes through the use social media.

“We wanted to create the virtual spirit week in order to help the Champe community come together during these times of uncertainty” senior student body president Kaylie Halsey. “The main goal was to remind students that we’re a family and we are all going through this difficult time together.”

The spirit days include activities like movie night, sharing a relaxing activity, repping Champe gear, sharing a throwback picture, and rocking your craziest socks. Each day corresponds with a specific hashtag to use when you post a picture of the activity on social media and tag @champesca.
