The Cruise Ship, The Diamond Princess, has been in quarantine since February 4th. A past guest was tested positive for the COVID-19 disease, 6 days after they left the ship. They tested guests aboard the ship, with 10 people having tested positive, and went into a 14 day quarantine. On Monday, 454 people had caught the coronavirus. On Sunday, the US Embassy notified The Diamond Princess that they would evacuate any Americans back to the US on two charter jets. Around 340 Americans were aboard the ship, and as they travelled to the airport, they found out that 14 people in the group tested positive for the coronavirus. Everyone safely evacuated and returned to the US where they will be in quarantine for another 14 days on military camps in California and Texas.
