The New Hampshire Primaries took place this Tuesday night, resulting in a Democratic win for Bernie Sanders with Pete Buttigieg as a close second, both getting 9 delegates. On the Republican side of things, Donald Trump won with a majority of Republican votes and 22 delegates. The purpose of the primaries is to gauge voting interest and where the interest of the country lies. The primaries have already caused Andrew Yang, Michael Bennet, and Deval Patrick to drop from the Democratic race.

“It is not just about beating Trump it is about transforming this country,” Sanders said in his remarks about the primaries. “It’s on to win the Democratic nomination.”
