Two weeks ago, cashier Ahmed Alwan started a game with his customers, if you can solve a math problem you will have five seconds to grab anything you want and it will be free.

Customers can take anything they want from the store, Alwan pays for all of the items from his own pocket. Alwan’s main concern isn’t his own money, but helping the low-income community save for other important expenses. Alwan has asked customers questions like “What’s 5 times 5?” or “9 times 9 minus 5?” to give all customers a fair chance to win. Videos of Alwan’s game have gone viral on TikTok and Instagram causing him to start a GoFundMe so he will be able to continue that game and help more people.
