A new vape ban passed by the FDA against the retail of mint and flavored vape products has been in effect for a week. Menthol and tobacco flavored products are the only things that are prohibited to be sold. They are going to be targeting companies that market to youths. Vaping has gotten out of control these past couple of years and many teens are now addicted. Many deaths and hospitalizations have been reported due to vaping and the excessive use of E cigarettes.

“The United States has never seen an epidemic of substance abuse arise as quickly as our current epidemic of youth use of e-cigarettes. HHS is taking a comprehensive, aggressive approach to enforcing the law passed by Congress, under which no e-cigarettes are currently on the market legally,” said HHS Secretary Alex Azar.
