After Kobe Bryant passed away on January 26, 2020, many people have been remembering their favorite moments with him including ESPN anchor Elle Duncan.

In an emotional statement on Sportscenter Duncan reminisced on an interview with Bryant where he stated that how grateful he was to have had three daughters at the time. Bryant then went on to say he would have five more girls if he could famously stating “I’m a girl dad.” Since this video was posted #girldad has spread across social media with people paying tribute to Kobe and Gianna but also showing appreciation for their own daughters.
