Bethany Graham, a runner on the girls Cross Country team, has been named the Gatorade Virginia Girls Cross Country Runner of the Year. The Gatorade Player of the Year is a program that recognizes high school athletes for athletic excellence, high standards of academic achievement, and exemplary character. Part of getting the player of the year, the winner gets to choose a charity where Gatorade Play it Forward will donate $1,000. Congratulations Bethany!
