The Academies of Loudoun include many programs for students interested in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. The students that attend go to the academies for one day and their high school for one day. There are student there from all over the county. The academies have three programs that students can apply to, academies of science, academies of engineering and technology, and the Monroe Advanced Technical Academy. In order to apply, there are certain criteria that must be met for each of the different programs, which can be found on the website. There are winter admission information sessions at the different Loudoun County high schools throughout January and early February. Students can apply for one or two year courses on the Academies of Loudoun website. The last day to apply is February 22, 2020 and there is a $35 application fee.
