Today, December 11th, the U.S. Army visited Champe and had a boot camp in the gym. They have multiple obstacle courses all over they gym where, if you complete it in time, you might win a prize. There was a pull-up station, where you get a drawstring bag for 5-10 pull ups. As well as a peg-wall and medicine ball weight station.
In the main obstacle course, you get in a get into a group of 4 and complete a series of exercises. the first part, your team splits up, you have person doing 5 sit-ups, another doing 5 push-ups, another doing 5 burpees, and the last person doing 5 jumping jacks. Then your team has to deconstruct a pyramid, and move it to another peg, with the biggest always being on the bottom. Finally, your team has to go through a rope course while carrying weights. If you do all of this under 3 minutes, you get a dog tag, and a U.S. Army T-shirt.
