Everyone loves Black Friday and Cyber Monday because of all the great deals and opportunities to get Christmas presents, but do people really buy that much? This year, cyber Monday hit a new spending record of $9.4 Billion. Smartphones also hit a new record of about $3 billion, about a third of all the black Friday sales. Between 11pm to midnight on Monday night, shoppers were spending $11 million every minute.Tech products such as Airpods and Nintendo gaming systems were among the high sellers. This year’s cyber Monday sales were up about 16.3% from last years sales. It also beat black Friday sales, which were at about $7.4 billion.
