Unity Day at JCHS

Unity Day is a national day to recognize the importance of inclusion and spread awareness to stop bullying.  Champe students and students from schools across the country took a stand and celebrated by wearing orange.  John Champe’s PEER program started the day by giving high fives to students as they walked in to school while playing music and providing big smiles!

“I love high fives in the morning because it is fun to see smiles on other peoples faces as they walk in to school,” said senior Kyla Miller. ” I believe it is important to spread the idea of unity and inclusion every day by trying to help everyone you can.”
