On Tuesday, October 15th, the Nationals beat the Cardinals 7-4 in a 4 game sweep making them advance to the World Cup Series for the first time within this franchise. Many fans are celebrating, as well as the Nationals themselves on their Instagram. The Nationals will be playing their next game on Tuesday, October 22nd, it is not determined who they will be playing against as of right now. Congratulations to the Nationals!
