This past weekend Typhoon Haggis hit Japan causing major flooding and dropping extreme amounts of rain.

The typhoon released nearly 35 inches of rain and damaging flooding throughout Tokyo and some places located further inland. The catastrophic storm has caused more than 50 deaths. The total cost of the typhoon has yet to be decided but should be discovered in the next few weeks as flooding begins to decrease and people can evaluate the damage that has been caused.
