Last night, the varsity field hockey team went to a game at Stonewall Jackson to play them and had to wait in the dark until 8 o’clock when they could finally start their game. Stonewall Jackson’s junior varsity team was playing another school before the varsity game, when all of a sudden, the lights went out. The varsity team was supposed to play at 7, however because the lights went out, they had to wait in the dark for an hour and didn’t start until 8. Luckly, this didn’t distract the varsity team and they were still able to bring home a win, beating Stonewall Jackson 1-0.
