Forever 21 is filing for bankruptcy and they will be closing 350 stores as they take their business out of 40 countries around the world.
Forever 21 has been around for 35 years and has been known for their trendy and affordable clothing, but the company has been struggling in recent years due to the drastic changes in consumer demand and fashion. Approximately half of all store closures will be in the United States.
“I think Forever 21 should be closing because sweatshops aren’t a moral way to make clothing,” junior Shruti Pothagoni said. “Their clothes are also either too short or don’t match most people’s style.”
