American rock band, Tool, has released their fifth studio album on August 30th. It’s their first album in 13 years. The reason being because of legal, creative, and personal issues during that time. Critics gave the album great reviews. All of them had complimented the singer’s vocals. When it came out, it topped the Billboard 200, putting it above Lana Del Rey’s new album.

The album was first announced in late 2008.  It kept being pushed back, due to the aforementioned issues.  Maynard James Keenan, the singer, has stated that he was worried for the release, fearful that it wouldn’t live up to fans’ expectations. Keenan had also started a new band during the wait, causing even more issues with scheduling.

Critic and fans alike agree that this album has been a return to form for the band.  Some expect it to make it to the top of the charts soon.
