The John Champe library sent their September newsletter this week highlighting some new books they are recommending to students, and some new resources and activities that the library is introducing this year.
The library is featuring “Long Way Down” by Jason Reynolds and “A Map of Salt and Stars” by Jennifer Zeynab Joukhadar. This year the library is also introducing new online resources Genially, EdPuzzle, Pulitzer Center, and Thunkable. Along with all the helpful resources and book recommendations the newsletter also included a photo of their new 3D printer and some of its creations.
“We want to spread awareness among the staff about wonderful resources in the library and online,” said librarian Mrs. Cote. “This year we want to focus on diversity and the voices that haven’t been heard before.”
