Parking passes are one of the many things students must take care of at the start of this new school year. Parking passes are the only way to be parked on school property, stadium parking included. Students must follow certain rules in order to not lose their permits. One of which is parking in areas not designated for staff members. It’s $200 for the entire year, $100 per semester. The passes are meant to prevent overcrowding in the lots. The price of the passes, however, may be a turn-off for some students.
When someone doesn’t follow the rules, or doesn’t have a parking pass, then the student won’t be able to park on school property. Their ability to park at school will also be lost if a student’s license is suspended. The vehicles must be properly register, licensed, and insured as well. A school resource officer will get involved if there are any issues regarding the passes.
All around, students don’t have any other option for driving themselves to school. They’ll have to make the arrangements work for a better school year.
