Hundreds of South Carolina teachers plan to march on May 1st in a teacher strike. The strike is to protest for better pay, smaller class sizes, and less standardized testing. As of April 23rd, over 300 people have signed up to march.

“It’s good that teachers are marching for this event,” said Sophomore Shreya Vootkoor. “It shows that they care about the school system.”
